PARTNERSHIP PERSPECTIVE
The mission of EnGen Institute, to provide sustainable life
support systems, is persued by developing closed-cycle
systems technology that is the basis of sustainable industry
and hence sustainable transport, buildings and cities. This
includes establishing systems which are in synergy with the
natural environment.
These are objectives that many individuals and organizations
also hold, are committed to and actively seek opportunities to
realize. Sustainability, whether at the household, village,
town, city, state, national or global scales will only be fully
realized when we all participate.
EnGen Institute has expertise in systemic systems design and
technology transfer. This ‘whole system’ approach provides
the architecture that unites many specific areas of expertise.
The institute partners with university centres of expertise to
realize this architecture and via technology transfer programs
with commercial enterprises.
